While Bell is not her teacher, she is still a teacher in that school, and has a little relationship/rivalry between them.

So, naturally, Miss Bell will listen and try to give the most advice that she can.

While she can't comment much on the family issue, she can comment on something that she knows, eating a lot of food.

(Actually, this part was never intended to be Miss Bell. The original plan was for Sophia to be in the book club and have this conversation with Sara..

While Sara's general message to Sophia is still the same as Bell's, it would resonate more with Sara because she also has that problem, and end in a more different tone, and not mentioning anything about eating.)

But then I thought, this is a Sophia series and I shouldn't expect readers to know that about Sara...and Bell was just introduced last season, would be nice if I can have her here as a support.

So I decided to change it to Bell.)
