Well this turned into a spectacular argument all about people's own issues, but i gotta say, Reuben is kinda missing the point of never have i ever... Judging people for things they share in that game is kinda against the social goal! But Reuben likely isn't really aware of that nuance, heh. Also this "if you love only one person" slides in there really naturally.... Like it's the only option... :3

And Idk if ages were revealed before and this is just a recap, or if this is new info, but I never would have thought that crush would be the oldest of the three of them! I was also a little thrown off by some of the older players? I would have thought you'd have to be a student at the school to be on the school's team. Or is the team unaffiliated with the school?

But also... Raising more questions about Carter's past, interesting! Using just the pieces we have so far, I'm gonna guess that he was together with that childhood friend who's really good at telling people what they want to hear, but the person that cater "cheated" with is that coach who he's having trauma flashbacks about, and maybe also the same one who convinced him to stay in hockey because he could change the game? If those two coaches ARE the same then an ulterior movie for wanting Carter to stay with hockey really recontextualizes carter's motives!
