Biggest thing first: on 14th July I finished the first draft of Book 3. Which of course doesn't mean quite as much when publishing in a serialized format, but still! The going got a bit slow at the end since I needed to do a bunch of crossreferencing and going back and forth and such, and everything needs a couple of editing passes, but yeah! Good times!

I've also been pushing myself to give Splinter Angel some more writing time. I'm not to the point where I'm building up a backlog quite yet, but as long as I can do a chapter or a little better each week, I'll be satisfied.

I may also have started a new sideproject at the end of last week, about a goblin shaman and the wind spirit that puppets her around. I'm going for a lighter tone and shorter chapters (about 2k words) with that. We'll see if it goes anywhere. I'll probably start posting it at some point, even if it ends up only being three or four chapters.

Overall, feeling good! I haven't had a 15k week for a while, so I'm happy about last week. I've had a bad tendency this year to no allow myself to write new stuff if I feel like I haven't done enough on Draka or Angel, which I know is dumb and counterproductive. That seems to be loosening up now!
