All right, so I've recently been introduced to Worm (I know, 12 year late to the party) and it's a good read! Kinda eats into my everything else time, but what can ya do? Still doing well.
Story's progressing nicely for Draka. I know where it's going, and I'm happy with how I'm getting there. Mommy Dearest is, understandably, a big part, and it's a fun to have a character that Draka can't bully or push around. My biggest concern right now is that there's a lot of little things I want to tie in or get back to, and I'm just not sure if I can without bloating the text beyond all good taste. We shall see how it goes.
The numbers for Angel are hard to estimate this time, too, since I've been doing a bunch of Summaries, and those inflate the word count by a ton. I'm almost done editing for RR, so I should hopefully get to doing some more new writing soon. As it is I'm writing slightly more than a chapter per week.
I'm still writing Izzy actively, just not very quickly. Popping in to do half a page here and there, mostly. Might be this is where my extra time will go once I'm done editing Angel. It's a fun story to write, and I have no plans to let it languish. Though I did just start writing up some prototypes for something new... which is going to have to be some serious back-burner stuff.
On a personal level I've started talking to my boss about working one day less per week. I'm not making enough from my writing right now to make up completely for the loss of income, but I'll be okay. And while I like my day job, a day spent writing is a hell of a lot more enjoyable and less stressful, which is worth a lot in itself.
That's about it for now. Thanks for reading!
