Having a really hard time writing this today. Feel bad about the numbers, even though I know I really shouldn't. I just haven't had the mental energy to do as much writing as I've wanted to these past two weeks. There have been too many other things that were more important, ones that I've wanted to do and ones that I've had to, and they've simply sapped me.

The thing is, for me to be creative I have to get into it. The zone, the groove, the flow, whatever you want to call it. And if I'm too tired, I simply can't get into that headspace where the words come in a coherent way. That's how it's been lately. So, instead I've fallen back on editing (if I want to be productive) or reading (if I just want to relax).

On the bright side I've gotten a lot of manuscript editing done, so that's nice.

Not much else to say. It's one of those days. I have some scheduling to do, and then I'll hopefully get some words down. Otherwise I guess I'll do some more editing!
