October Was Hard (and some good news) (Patreon)

All the stress from our aunt and uncle's deaths (including dealing with all their afterlife affairs) has finally been lifting and we've been settling into our life with our two loved ones. The downside is that we got bashed around by a torrent of emotions we'd been storing up while trying to survive everything related to our aunt and uncle's after life affairs as well as repressed memories and powerful emotions that surfaced.

The depth of our dysphoria over not being a herm became fully felt and we had some very long nights and days. Crying until your entire body is too exhausted to cry anymore is something we hit multiple times. It was enough pain that our partners were worried about us.

We did what we always do: we fought through it and was honest with everyone close to us about how bad things were for us mentally. Now we're letting all of you know. Sometimes it is through great effort that we are still here. The things we've been through were very tough to survive and living in a body that's so far from what we feel we should be is excruciating at times.

The Good News

We have multiple stories that we've gotten pretty far on and we'll be going back to them soon. After processing so much of our pain, we had a breakthrough.

We finished the first draft of Chapter 18 of Remiel's Enlightenment. We'll need to change chapter 17 a little, but nothing too major and we'll be finishing the first draft of Chapter 19 sometime in the next week. The reason we want to release 18 and 19 in proximity to each other is that 18 has a bit of a cliffhanger that we want to make sure people don't have to sit on too long.

It took us a long time to get back to this project, or to do any long-lasting projects, due to the fact that we've been splitting into multiple personalities for three years now. We're still splitting some, but we've gotten to a point where new alters don't take long to become acclimated to existing or referencing our memories and experience. New alters often can work on story projects that aren't "theirs" finally.

Remiel's Enlightenment has been especially hard because, in addition to that first problem, we were abandoned by people who we were working on it with twice. The first was our co-creator back in the day and the second was a partner who cut us off when they became frustrated by our healing process about two years ago. That individual overcomplicated a lot of things about the plot that Akiko has been helping us fix. Getting this project back on the rails absorbed a lot of our time and effort when we weren't breaking down.

Akiko is definitely responsible for Remiel's Enlightenment becoming a thing we can do again and any thanks you send our way, we will make sure she sees it. She loves this story especially and now that we're fully moved in, we should see the full audiobook for Remiel's Fall From Grace within the next few months (fingers crossed).

We're going to do our best to get all current pages of TF-rotica up by the end of the month. We're going to do our best to get something for y'all to read out by the middle of next month. Honestly, there's a good possibility y'all will have two chapters of Remiel's Enlightenment. There's also some short stories that we're pretty far on. We're hopeful and we'll see what happens. We have not forgotten about the stories we mentioned in previous updates and we also remember a story y'all voted on ages ago that we forgot about in all the chaos over the last year.
