I'm really surprised at how chessy I made this story, lol.

This is easily becoming one of my top favorite anniversary specials. They're all amazing but there are ones I love to reread and I can see me doing that with this. Your art is beautiful. The movements in the dancing really comes through. Just amazing

Anonymous

I’m so amazed by how you draw them in dance poses 😭 absolutely beautiful. Also, girl give us all the cheese we’ll eat that up

Ximinnie

This is so romantic I can’t stop giggling and swooning 😍😍😍 and as someone already said, I’m getting major Yuri on Ice vibes 🙈

The Nutcracker is a favorite story of mine (I always wanted to play Clara), I could hear the music as I read through these panels. Sooooo loving where this is going. 😍This is PERFECTION!!!!

Inb3tw33nnap5

I absolutely adore this short, I think it’s my favorite of the lot. I think it’s sweet but not too saccharine. Really beautiful job :)

Just the right amount of cheesy for me :D

Miraculous Elcie

Some things I noticed: "My dancing skills *are* the only thing he'll see!" How does Ansel not know if it's his first time auditioning for an agency? "but I was not going to become tall enough." when Ansel doesn't get to be the understudy. Instead of "I put a blank mind," maybe try "I cleared my mind of everything." Also, there's a panel that's missing from where you swipe through. The part where he stops because he felt Evan's hands.

Miraculous Elcie

Overall? I love this so much!! If you pull a fast one on us and Ansel DOESN'T get the female lead part to be able to dance with Evan, I'll probably cry...

Ivy

Hey bunny I think there’s a panel missing on the attached pictures, the one that is supposed to say “I felt his hands” and shows Evan placing his hands on Ansel’s waist (it is on the scrolling part)

Autumn Moore

I will take some bread with my extra sharp cheddar gay cheese, please.

Brittany Justis

Omg this is to fucking cute! I don’t think I would discribe it as cheesie I honestly love where this story is taking me as a reader. It’s simple yet very cute, it makes me anticipate what may happen next or what may not happen next. I’m gonna be thinking about this for like the next week. 😊

Keguen

Bunny why you gotta make catching feelings seem so nice 😭

KW Belk

I dont know if you did this on purpose or not! But after the panel that has “and my body started to move on its own” I think there’s two panels of Evan and ansel dancing together missing :) (on the scroll)

GIMMIE MORE! Please and dont feel stressed to finish, I can wait

In this special, Grandma is the person who chooses who gets what part in the play. Seeing them dance together as a couple and seeing their chemistry together will make her want them to dance together in the play.

Kat Vancil

Their dance forms—especially the hands and feet—are so beautifully rendered! As an illustrator and dancer myself I know how hard it is to show the accurate flexibility of dancers and not have it look freakish (trust me I sometimes look at the weird angles my feet and fingers can bend into and am like yeah…that doesn’t look right at all). Also loving the story so far, can’t wait to see what happens next! The Nutcracker is my absolute favorite, I own like way too many versions of it including the original Nutcracker and the Mouse King translated into English from the original German and Alexandre Dumas’ version translated from French. Yes THAT Dumas, the one who also wrote The Three Musketeers and The Count of Monte Cristo. Fun fact, it’s actually Dumas’ version of The Nutcracker from which the ballet was created. (Yes I’m like a huge history nerd about the most random shit, and my friends jokingly call me the Encyclopedia Kattica because of it).

Damian

They look the same size though *_*

Alie Papier

"I'm really surprised at how chessy I made this story" YOU SAY AS IF YOU DIDN'T WRITE A WHOLE "THEY HAVE TO PRETEND TO DATE AND END UP FALLING IN LOVE" STORY IM DEAD

Daniel Losers

WHY CANT I READ PART 3 😭😭 IT LEADS ME BACK TO 2 :00

Kayla Kern

I can't read part 3 either! 😭😭
