ENGLISH/ESPAÑOL

Hello everybunny!Today we have some very good news. The Mimic plush is almost finished >w<As always, we will show the process until the final plush~

After making the metal parts, it was time for the rest of the details. We made the missing eyes first. The small ones were embroidered, but for the big ones we wanted them to pop out, so we made them with glow in the dark minky. This would give them more volume. It took a couple tests but they turned out so cool.

Then, it was time to make the teeth. Even if it doesn't look like it, it was the part that got more complicated to us, because we couldn't find a good size and distribution for them. At the end we got some teeth we liked, although we want to make some adjustments before posting the finished plush.

After that, we worked on the tongue. It was an element that would give the plush a lot of personality. We wanted it to bbe soft and posable. After a couple tests, we got the perfect shape. And it can hold a D20 without problem. Look how funny it is!

With all this, there was only one thing left. It was time for the gums/webbing on the sides of the chest. It would definetely give the plush that creepy final touch. It was difficult to decide how to make them, but at the end we sued the same technique we used for Raymond's glasses. We cut the hooped fabric over the stabilizer like an applique, and then embroidered the outline. Once the embroidery was done, we hand sewed both sides together. The result looks AMAZING, we love it. Apart from being one of our favourite details, these pieces are the ones that keep the plushie's mouth open. Inside the plush and at the ends of these pieces, we will put some magnets. This way, you will be able to open and close the chest by removing them!

Apart from hand sewing all the new pieces and some minor changes, this is how the plush will look like! What do you think? Do you like it? We're supper happy and proud with the reuslt ;__; It looks super cool and we were able to make all the details we wanted.

This weekend we will be working on a bigger version of the plush and the sewing instructions. We should be able to finish it at the beginning of next week to give you the pattern!

----ESPAÑOL----

Hello everybunny!

It's truly amazing y'all!!! Are the wood panel details the only pieces of embroidery that need a 5x7 or larger btw?
