Today we have a compilation of the work and stuff we’ve done this month so far. Let’s go!

After finishing the secret projects (which we will be able to show in June if everything goes well!), we’ve been working on several repeated plushies we have pending. Most of them are Patreon rewards. We are very delayed with them and need a couple weeks to finish them.

Starting with a project we had pending for a long time was a Digivice keychain for a Sherpa tier reward. If you have known us for MANY years, you may know that the Digivice were one of our most popular designs. We always brought them to conventions and always ran out of stock, but we haven’t made one since 2021.

We were asked to make one as a reward, and we made the embroidery. But honestly, we didn’t like it at all. It had embroidery mistakes, and specially the shape wasn’t very polished and it stretched too much, so we decided to remake the design!

We basically polished Agumon’s embroidery to make it look cleaner. Then, we changed the pattern to improve the shape and have proportions more like the real Digivice.

Here’s a comparison of the old and the new one. what do you think? Do you see the change? 😃

Honestly, we would love to remake all the main Digimon from Adventure in Digivice. Maybe we could make a small batch to sell. Maybe even add some new designs? Would you be interested?

On the other side, we’ve been preparing two Gomamon and two hoodie lizards. The latter will both be similar to the brown lizard, but each with a different colored detail. One will have a purple hoodie, the other will have green eyes. We want each lizard to be unique, even if it only changes one color ^^These ones are still in progress, but we should be able to post them finished in a few days!

To finish this post, we have a very important announcement.

As you may know, we have wanted to start making fursuits and artdolls for a long time. Every year we waited for the right moment to invest time and money on this new road for Boira Plushies, but we always delayed it.

This year we want it to be different. We want this year to be the one we reach our goals and dreams. And we have already taken the first step; we have bought a 3D printer!!! It’s a Neptune 4 max >w<

It’s not the most expensive nor perfect one, but after listening to recommendations, it’s a good option price-quality wise.

You don’t know how excited and nervous we are to take this step. We have wanted to do it for years. We really hope it works and we can bring you lots of new content from this handcrafted world ❤

We’re very happy with how productive and full of energy we are being this year. We counted them and we have finished 11 plushies so far in a bit over two months!We think that, if we keep up this pace, this year we will finally be able to catch up and organize our work better than ever ^^

Hoy os traemos un recopilatorio del trabajo y cosas que hemos hecho en lo que va de mes. Vamos a ello!

Después de terminar los proyectos secretos (los cuales podremos enseñaros en junio si todo va bien!), hemos estado trabajando en varios peluches repetidos que tenemos pendientes. La mayoría son recompensas de Patreon. Los teníamos algo atrasados y queríamos coger un par de semanas para terminarlos

Empezando por un proyecto que teníamos pendiente de recompensa del tier Sherpa era hacer un Digivice de llavero. Si nos conocéis de hace MUCHOS años, sabréis que los Digivice son uno de nuestros diseños más populares y míticos. Siempre los llevábamos a los eventos para vender, pero desde 2021 que no hacíamos uno.

Como nos pidieron uno de recompensa, nos pusimos a bordarlo y coserlo. Pero la verdad, no nos gustaba del todo. Tenía algunos errores de bordado, pero sobretodo la forma estaba poco definida y aplastada, así que decidimos hacer un pequeño remake de nuestro diseño! Básicamente, pulimos el bordado del Agumon, para que se viera más limpio. Luego, cambiamos el patrón de costura para marcar mejor la forma y fuera más fiel al Digivice original.

Os dejamos una comparativa de cómo se veía el antiguo y el nuevo. ¿Qué os parece, se nota el cambio? : D

La verdad es que nos gustaría rehacer a todos los Digimon de Adventure en Digivice. Quizás podríamos hacer una pequeña tirada y ponerlos a la venta. Quizás incluir algunos diseños nuevos? Os interesaría?

También trabajamos en esta familia de bebitos, que los teníamos pendientes para una amiga. Los dos grandes son de mochi y los 3 pequeñines son de minky. En verdad los teníamos empezados de hace mucho, pero nunca encontrábamos el momento para terminarlos. Se ven super adorables todos juntos ^^ y sabemos que van a un buen hogar.

Recordad que no podemos hacer peluches de esta franquicia ya. Estos fueron la excepción porque eran para una amiga. Pero tenéis sus patrones disponibles para hacerlos vosotres mismes : D

Por otro lado, hemos estado preparando dos Gomamon y dos lagartiros encapuchados. Estos últimos serán casi iguales que el marrón original que hicimos pero con elementos de otro color. Uno tendrá la sudadera lila y el otro los ojos verdes. Queremos que cada uno de nuestros lagartos sea único, que cambien aunque sea en algún color ^^Estos pequeñines aún están en proceso, pero en unos días deberíamos poderlos subir terminados!

Para terminar este post, tenemos un anuncio muy importante.

Como sabréis, hace mucho que queremos empezar a hacer fursuits y artdolls. Cada año esperábamos un buen momento donde invertir tiempo y dinero en este nuevo camino en Boria Plushies, pero siempre lo atrasábamos.

Este año queremos que sea diferente. Queremos que sea un año único donde cumplamos nuestros objetivos y sueños. Ya hemos hecho el primer paso; nos hemos comprado una impresora 3D!!! Una Neptune 4 Max >w<

No es la más cara ni perfecta, pero después de dejarnos aconsejar, es una buena opción calidad precio

No sabéis lo ilusionadas y nerviosas que estamos por dar este paso. Es algo que queríamos desde hace años. Ojalá funcione y podamos traeros muchísimo contenido nuevo sobre este mundo artesano ❤

Y no mucho más por ahora. La próxima semana os enseñaremos algún peluche terminado más y WIPs de los encargos nuevos en los que trabajamos.

La verdad es que estamos muy contentas de lo productivas y enérgicas que estamos siendo este año. Hemos hecho un recuento y ya llevamos 11 peluches en poco más de dos meses! Creemos que, de verdad, este año al fin vamos a conseguir ponernos al día y organizarnos mejor que nunca ^^
