Hey Bunnies!Today's post is short but full of hype, because we have the first WIP of our baby Pukei-Pukei >w<

The truth is that it was difficult to get the first base pattern. The problem is that the shapes are vaguely defined and round, plus the head and body are almost the same size, like the beetles or Fuecoco. We had to make lots of darts to round all the shapes and at the same time make the pieces thinking that the neck will be machine sewn.

But after many patterns drawn on paper, we did the first sewn test. Although we need to change many things, YOU CAN RECOGNIZE IT ALREADY!We're so surprised and proud ;3; it wasn't an easy pattern to make.

The main changes we want to make are improve the body shape by making the tail longer. Also, rotate the head down (now it's looking up), make the head thinner and define more the neck and eyebrows more prominent.

But seeing how good the first test looks, we think that we'll get the perfect shape in 2-3 more tests! And the size is pretty decent hehehe ^^

Hey Bunnies!Hoy toca post cortito pero con mucho hype, y es que tenemos un primer WIP de nuestro bebé Pukei-Pukei >w<

La verdad es que nos ha costado un poco sacar una primera prueba de patrón base. Tiene el típico problema de tener formas "poco definidas" y redondeadas + estar cabeza y cuerpo unidos, como nos pasó con los Escarabajos o Fuecoco. Hay que hacer muchas pinzas para redondear todas las curvas a la vez que coses el cuello a máquina.

Pero tras muchos dibujos en papel, nos embarcamos a coser la primera prueba en tela. Aunque aún tiene bastantes cosas que cambiar y fallos, YA SE RECONOCE MUCHO! Estamos super sorprendidas y orgullosas ;3; no era fácil de sacar de cero.

Los cambios principales son por un lado mejorar la forma del cuerpo, alargando la cola. Y por otro, bajar la cabeza (ahora mira hacia arriba), estrechar un poco el cráneo y marcar más las cejas y el cuello.

Pero viendo lo bien que se ve ya de primeras, creemos que en 2-3 pruebas más podremos tener la forma perfecta! Y ha quedado bastante hermoso de tamaño jejeje ^^
