Baby Pukei-Pukei WIP 2 - Final pattern test (Patreon)

Hello everybunny!Today we have a short post updating about the baby Pukei-Pukei plush ^^

In the previous WIP we showed you the first base test. It already looked good; we only needed to make some adjustments to the shapes and proportions, so after a couple more tests, we got the shape we wanted! It was just a bit too fat. But it's such a small change that we decided to try it on the final plush directly 😃

After that, we worked on the wings, legs and eyes. It was a bit difficult because we didn't have any clear references of how the wings and legs should look apart from our drawings, but we like the final result a lot!

Here are some photos of how the final pattern test looks like. We love how derpy and friendly iy looks. We want to hug it ;__;

With this we can already make the final plush. Since the embroidery is only for the eyes, and the cheek and tuymmy applique, we will probably finish it between today and tomorrow! Also, all the embroideries will have a 10x10 cm (4x4 inch) hoop version, so they will work in any embroidery machine ^^

So if everything goes well, we will be able to send the patterns as a March reward soon. We will send them in the next few days.

What do you think? Did you think the design would turn this way? Do you recognize it's a baby Pukei-Pukei? Since its a "reinterpretation" (it's not an official design, it's a baby version) we were afraid that it wouldn't turn out good, but we are happy with the result >w<

Finally, we also wanted to tell you that we received the new minky color chart and some faux fur fabric from Stoffhummel. When we have a moment, we will take good photos of the color chart so you can see the new colors

Hello everybunny!Hoy tenemos post corto actualizando un poco sobre el peluche del bebé Pukei-Pukei ^^

En el WIP anterior os enseñamos la primera prueba de la base. La verdad es que estaba ya muy bien; solo teníamos que ajustar un poco las formas y proporciones, así que después de un par de pruebas y ajustes más, conseguimos la forma que buscábamos! Solo estaba un pelín gordo. Pero es tan poco que decidimos hacer el ajuste ya en la prueba a limpio 😃

Después de eso, nos pusimos con las alas, las patitas y los ojos. Nos costó un poco porque no teníamos una referencia clara de cómo debían ser las alas y las patas más allá de nuestros dibujos, pero al final nos gustó el resultado!

Aquí os dejamos unas fotitos de cómo se ve la prueba final de patronaje. Nos encanta porque se ve súper derpy y amistoso. Dan muchas ganas de abrazarlo ;__;

Con esto ya podemos ponernos a pasarlo a limpio. Como el bordado solo son los ojos, mejillas y barriga, entre hoy y mañana lo vamos a dejar 100% terminado! Además, todos los bordados tendrán una version 10x10 cm, así que servirán para cualquier bordadora ^^

Así que si todo va bien, pronto deberíamos poderos dar los patrones para como recompensa de marzo. Los enviaremos en los próximos días

Qué os parece a vosotres? Os imaginabais que iría por aquí el diseño? Se reconoce al bebé Pukei-Pukei? Como es una "reinterpretación" (no es el diseño tal cual, si no una versión bebé) nos daba miedo que no nos quedase bien, pero estamos contentas con el resultado >w<Por último, también queríamos deciros que nos ha llegado tanto el nuevo muestrario de minky como varias telas de faux fur de Stoffhumel. Cuando tengamos un momento, os haremos fotitos buenas del muestrario para que veáis los nuevos colores
