If you wondered what were we doing since we finished the tutorial... It was this!

This month we've had many unexpected expenses (college fees, bills...) so we decided to take a small break from commissions to get some extra money.

Don't worry, we took photos of all the process so we can share it the next days.

So, why Umbreon? Well, in March it was one of us' birthday (Hongky's) and I (Kuri) decided to make her a Jolteon plush, her favourite Pokémon. I thought that it would be cute to make it laying. We had never made a laying plush before because they are usually adorable but not realistic, so it was a challenge to make both things, but I did it!

So, since we got all this unexpected expenses, we thought that we could make a plush to sell it, and thought that a laying eeveelution would be cool, that way we could use jolteon's body pattern. We made a poll on twitter and Umbreon was the winner, so it's the one we made. Luckily we had all the minky and threads to make both normal and shiny, so here they are!

In the following days we will share all the WIPs and comment them, since in the end it took us more work than expected. We will explain all the changes we made to adapt Jolteon's pattern to Umbreon's body, since each eeveelution has a slightly different body shape.

Si os preguntábais qué hemos estado haciendo desde que terminamos el tutorial... ¡era esto! 

Éste mes hemos tenido muchos gastos imprevistos (matrícula de la universidad, facturas...) así que hemos hecho un pequeño parón de las commissions para sacar algo de dinero extra. 

No os preocupéis, tenemos fotos de todo el proceso que iremos subiendo éstos días por aquí.

¿Por qué Umbreon? Bueno, en marzo fue el cumple de una de nosotras (Hongky) y yo (Kuri) decidí hacerle un peluche de Jolteon, su pokémon favorito. Pensé que una manera de hacerlo mono sería hacerlo tumbado. Nunca habíamos hecho un peluche tumbado porque suelen ser adorables pero no proporcionados y realistas, y fue todo un reto conseguir ambas cosas, pero lo conseguí! 

Entonces, como hemos tenido éstos gastos, pensamos en hacer algún peluche para vender directamente, y se nos ocurrió hacer una de las evoluciones de Eevee para aprovechar el cuerpo de jolteon. Hicimos una encuesta en twitter y Umbreon fue el ganador, así que fue el que hicimos. Por suerte teníamos telas e hilos tanto para el normal como para el shiny. 

Estos próximos días vamos a subir todo el proceso, ya que al final nos llevó más trabajo de lo esperado. Iremos comentando todos los cambios que hicimos al cuerpo de jolteon para adaptarlo a umbreon y demás, ya que cada eeveelution tiene el cuerpo ligeramente distinto.
