Preparing new stuff for convention (JWMadrid2018): Sweetwicks! (Patreon)

First of all, we apologise for not posting last week. Honestly, we were running out of time for the convention and we didin't have time for anything that was not sewing. And use time to write a post was something we couldn't afford. We are truly sorry, but we really had a lot of work to finish.

Anyway, we will still post what we had planned and will show you all the process photos so you know everything we worked on for the con. As we already said, one of the plushies we had planned to bring to Japan Weekend was Litwick, one of our fav pokemon. But these Litwicks had something special. And it's that they are not the pokémon itself, but a SWEETER version!

We ran into this idea while testing the new litwick patterns. We were using mint minky for the test and the idea just popped into our mind. It was a last minute idea and had to work super hard on it but we do not regret it.

Here are some pics so you can see the amount of fabric and colours we used for all the Litiwcks (both regular, shiny and sweet ones). We will post some more photos of the little guys!

En primer lugar, sentimos no haber subido fotos esta semana pasada. Realmente, se nos hecho el tiempo encima la semana antes del evento, y no teníamos tiempo para mas que para trabajar. Y dedicar un rato a subir un post por aquí era algo que no podíamos hacer. Lo lamentamos de corazón, pero era mucho trabajo por terminar.  

Aun así, vamos a seguir la programación que teníamos y os vamos a enseñar todas las fotos que hicimos de los procesos del material para que veáis todo el trabajo que tuvimos para el evento.  Como os dijimos, uno de los peluches que íbamos a llevar a la Japan era Litwick, uno de nuestros pokemon favoritos. Pero esos Litwick tenían algo especial. Y es que no son solo los pokemon que conocéis, si no que son versión DULCES!

Fue una idea que nos vino a la cabeza mientras hacíamos pruebas del patrón nuevo de litwick. Usamos tela color menta para coser. Y la idea llegó a nuestras cabeza por arte de magia. Y no nos arrepentimos para nada.

Os dejamos unas fotitos para que veáis la CANTIDAD de colores que tuvimos que usar y los bordados que se necesitaban para hacer tantos diseños de el bebe. Intentaremos subir alguna fotito mas de los diseños especiales y su proceso !
