We usually use foam and/or wire to get more defined shapes in our plushies, making sure they look good and also to remove some elasticity from the fabric. We use it, for example, for plain or straight shapes like Meltan's nut or open mouths like Weezing's. But in this case, we found out that just foam wasn't enough because the mouth opening is really big and it got deformed anyway.

So, after some testing, we decided to use a more rigid material on top of the foam, so it kept better the shape and would still be soft. We usedfoam core board, but we could have used some other material like cardboard. This will give the mouth a perfect shape :)

Normalmente, utilizamos un poco de espuma y/o algo de alambre para conseguir las formas mas marcadas en los peluches, asegurando que se vean más rectas y quitar algo su elasticidad. Lo usamos, por ejemplo, para hacer diseños planos(como con Meltan) o hacer bocas abiertas(como weezing). Pero en este peluche, nos hemos encontrado que por el tipo de patrón, no era suficiente con estos materiales, y que la tela cedía demasiado, dejando la boca sobresalida hacia afuera.Por ello, después de probar varias estructuras, decidimos utilizar un material más rígido y recubrirlo con espuma para que no fuera duro al tacto. Usamos cartón pluma, pero podríamos usar otro material duro como cartón. Esto va a conseguir una muy buena forma en la serpiente :)
