And with this plush we put an end to the 3 express plushies from Chachi. And at the same time, all the plushies that were due these days.

Looking at Booba, we see that it's important to have a proper study for a character's references before making a comission, because we had to change several things in order to the plush to have some sense. Not only we had to fix that floating mouth, but impossible proportions, distances, shapes... But anyway it is a good job. We'd like to make the shell bigger and with a better shape, but working so fast is what it has.  Our biggest fear was that face but at the end it matched quite good with the rest of the plush.

If we have to say a global experience of this project, honestly, we didn't have enough time to fix all the tiny errors that make us unique and make us be proud of our work. But it was already an express commission, plus the customer took a long time to pay us so the fabrics arrived with almost no time for tests. We usually don't accept working with such a short time, but luckily everything turned out great, so we are happy.

If we have to choose a favourite between the 3, it's definetely Mr Relax, because it was the design that had most sense (and we are talking about a happy pyramid sitting on a unicorn float...), and the result was really funny. Give us your opinion, which one of the express plushies is your favourite?

After this crazyness, we are going back to our regular work schedule~ We're excited to show you new stuff.

 Y con este peluche damos por finalizado los 3 encargos expres de Chachi. Y a su vez, todos los peluches urgentes de estos últimos días.  

Mirando a Booba, vemos que es importante hacer un buen estudio de referencias antes de encargar algo, pues tuvimos que deformar bastante algunas piezas para que tuvieran sentido en un peluche real. No solo el tema de la boca flotante, si no proporciones imposibles, distancias, formas... Pero aún así, quedó un buen trabajo. Nos habría gustado hacer el caparazón algo más grande y distinto, pero cosas de trabajar rápido. Sobretodo teníamos dudas de cómo se vería esa cara tan extravagante, pero al final quedaba bien en conjunto.  

Si tenemos que reflexionar globalmente sobre el proyecto, la verdad, es que nos faltó algo de tiempo para pulir esos pequeños errores que nos molestan, que nos diferencian y hacen que estemos tan orgullosas de nuestro trabajo. Pero el cliente nos pagó muy tarde, y las telas tardaron mucho en llegar por ello, dejándonos casi sin tiempo para hacer pruebas. De normal nos negamos a trabajar "fuera de nuestros tiempos". Pero por suerte, todo salió muy bien, así que estamos contentas.  

Escogiendo a uno de los 3 peluches de Chachi, nuestro favorito es Mr Relax, porque es el diseño que tenía "más sentido"( y mira que hablamos de una pirámide feliz sobre un flotador de unicornio...), y el resultado fue muy gracioso. Dadnos vuestra opinión, ¿cuál de los peluches express es vuestro favorito?
