And here's the improved body base with the wings and legs prototypes. It looks much better with these two pieces, and we know that when we draw his face and put his beak and mane it will look awesome.

We still have to make some adjustements to the patterns. For example, we want to round the wing, or the legs and feet, which we want to make around one cm longer. But they are simple changes that we will make directly to the final plush. What we want to try before making the final plush, is to change the head, since we think it looks big and awkward. We'll try to make it smaller before testing the embroidery.

We really like how the wings turned out. And we're sure that with some wire skeleton the feet will hold the whole plush stand alone :)

Pues ya tenemos nuestro cuerpo base mejorado junto al prototipo de alas y patas. La verdad es que mejora mucho al ponerle estas dos piezas, y sabemos que al dibujarle la cara de prueba y ponerle el pico y la cresta, se verá genial.

Tenemos pequeños ajustes por hacer a los patrones. Por ejemplo, las alas queremos redondearlas un poco en la zona superior. O las piernas y dedos, que queremos alargarlos un centímetro más o menos. Pero son cambios muy simples que haremos ya directamente a limpio. El cambio que sí queremos probar, pero, es en la cabeza, que consideramos que aún se ve algo grande en proporción al resto de piezas. Cuando hagamos la prueba de bordado, intentaremos encogerla un poco más.

Nos gusta mucho como nos ha quedado el efecto de plumas en las alas. Y estamos casi seguras de que poniéndole alambre en las patitas, conseguiremos que se aguante bien de pie :)
