Finished Marshal plush - Animal Crossing (Patreon)

Finally the day has arrived. Today it's time to show you our beloved squirrel completely finished. 

That's right, Marshal is ready to steal your hearts. 

What to say about this project that we haven't already said during its making? That it's a clear example of how a design that doesn't look very complex can give huge headaches to manage to make it look perfect. 

But it was totally worth it, we're saying it from the bottom of our hearts. 

As you have seen in the WIPs, Marhal has posable arms. He also has a coffee mug that he can hold with his paw.
Oh, right, we hadn't told you about this little surprise hehehe. Yep, the idea of making this small accessory for the plush came to our mind, and the customer liked it. Having a house that looks like a cafeteria, it was necessary. 

Things to comment:
First, we managed to get a tail with an amazing shape and embroidery, and it also gives stability to the plush, which we're glad about. And since it's machine sewn to the body, it's more resistant.
About the clothes, ordering custom printed fabrics during the quarantine gave us a lot of headaches. We sometimes thought that it would've been better to make the clothes with embroidered minky, but well, it's finally done and it looks super cute. 

In conclusion, we're super proud of this plush. Specially with the tail and head's shapes, the proportions and all the details we paid attention to. 

This plush has meant a before and after for us. It's both the first one we've made with our new embroidery machine, so it has a better quality, one of our first ones with custom printed fabric and it's also the first new Animal Crossing character we've done in a long time. 

But it specially marked a before and after on our community and customers. The feedback and love we're recieving upon this plush is amazing. The load of messages and comments, all the new patrons and members of the community we've recieved... And at the end that is what gets us. We're not gonna lie, kknowing that there was so many people waiting to see Marshal finished gave us extra pressure, and we were afraid that it wouldn't turn out as great as they expected, but at the end we're very satisfied with the result and with all the effort we've put on him.

Por fin ha llegado el día. Hoy toca enseñaros a nuestra querida ardilla totalmente terminada. 

Así es chicos, Munchi está listo para conquistar vuestros corazones.   

Y qué decir de este proyecto que no hayamos dicho durante toda su confección? Pues que es un claro ejemplo de como un diseño que no parece muy complejo, puede llegar a dar tantos dolores de cabeza para conseguir que se vea precioso.   

Pero ha valido totalmente la pena, de corazón os lo decimos.   

Como habéis visto en los procesos, Munchi tiene brazos totalmente posables. Tiene, además, una taza que puede sujetar con la patita.   
Oh, cierto, no os habíamos hablado de esta pequeña sorpresa jejeje. Pues sí, nos vino a la cabeza hacerle este pequeño detalle al peluche, y a la clienta le pareció bien. Teniendo una casa que parece una cafetería, era necesario.   

Temas a comentar:   
Por un lado, conseguimos que la cola se viera preciosa de forma y bordado, y además le da estabilidad al peluche, lo cual se agradece. Y como pudimos coserla a máquina, es resitente.   
Tema de la ropa, la verdad es que nos ha dado muchísimos dolores de cabeza hacerle la ropa de tela estampada en plena cuarentena. A veces pensamos que habría sido mejor hacerla de minky bordada, pero bueno, ya esta hecho, y le queda muy mona.   

En conclusión, estamos super orgullosas de este trabajo. Especialmente en la forma de la cabeza y la cola, las proporciones y todos los detalles que hemos cuidado.   

Este peluche ha significado un antes y un después para nosotras. Tanto por ser el primero que hacemos con la nueva bordadora y por ello con más calidad, como de los primeros en hacer tela estampada, y también es el primer peluche de AC nuevo que hacíamos en mucho tiempo.   

Pero sobretodo ha marcado un antes y un después en nuestra comunidad y clientes. El feedback y amor que estamos recibiendo con este peluche es increíble. La lluvia de mensajes y comentarios, todos los nuevos patrons y la comunidad super interesada que ha llegado... Y es al final lo que más nos llega al corazón. No os vamos a mentir, ver que había tanta gente expectante para ver a Munchi terminado, nos ha dado una presión extra y teníamos miedo de que no quedase tan bien como la gente esperaba, pero al final estamos muy satisfechas con como ha quedado y todo el esfuerzo que le hemos dedicado.
