Well, you already saw how Marshal turned out. But as you know, he wasn't the only squirrel we are working on ;)

The upper head is the prototype we made using the embroidery we showed last time. We saw several errors and made a second try, the lower one. We wanted to put both photos in the same picture so it's easy to compare them and see the changes.First, we made the eyes wider, because they had turned out too arched and small.We also adjusted the nose, mouth and cheeks a bit.

The truth is that now he looks much better. We still want to make another embroidery test to rotate the eyes a bit and center the eyebrows, and maybe make the nose and cheeks a lil bigger, we haven't decided on that yet. But the third one will probably be the last test so we'll make the final plush soon!

We want to add that we used a different blue for the second head because we didn't want to run out of the good one, since we're still in quarantine so we are short on materials. Also yes, we know we got his ears wrong, they're orange not pink hahaha

Bueno, ya visteis cómo quedó terminado nuestro querido Munchi. Pero como sabéis, no era la única ardilla en la que estábamos trabajando ;)La cabeza de arriba es el prototipo que hicimos con el bordado que ya os enseñamos. Vimos varios errores e hicimos un segundo prototipo, que es el de abajo. Os hemos querido poner las fotos una encima de otra para que podáis ver bien la comparación y los cambios. En primer lugar, alargamos los ojos hacia el centro, pues con el volumen se habían "encogido" y se veían muy arqueados y pequeños. También hicimos otros ajustes en la nariz, la boca y las mejillas.La verdad es que ahora se ve mucho mejor, nos encanta. Aun queremos hacer una tercera prueba, girándole unos grados los ojos, echándole hacia atrás un poco las cejas y quizás agrandar un poco más las mejillas y la nariz, esto no lo tenemos del todo decidido. Pero seguramente sea ya el ultimo prototipo, y podremos pasarlo a limpio en nada!Comentar que la cabeza de abajo es otro azul porque decidimos usar tela de prueba que nos sobraba para no gastar más de la buena, que con la cuarentena vamos justas. Y sí, sabemos que nos hemos equivocado en las orejas, que tienen que ser naranjas, no rosas jajajaja.¿Qué os parece? ¿Os gusta?
