Hello everyone! Sorry for taking long to post updates about this plush, As we said in our last post, we've been busy preparing and organizing shippings of our past preorders. Also, as an important notice, our roommate is moving on his own. So during one or two weeks we'll be helping him pack his stuff and reorganizing the apartment now that it will be all ours. But don't worry, we'll keep working as much as we can and bringing you interesting posts <3

Today we want to show you something that we had a lot of fun making. As we commented, Filbert's commissioner asked us to make a pepperoni pizza slice for the plush. He wants it to be holding the pizza with his paws, like offering it. So we had to make this little prop for our squirrel boy.

It's a really tiny plush so we couldn't give it many details or colours. But we came up with a tiny detail that would give it a realistic look, and our personal touch. We made the cheese melting over the tip of the pizza slice. We were afraid that it would look bad, that ti would seem just a weird lump, but no, it didn't. It looks ADORABLE. IT's such a small detail that turned a plain plush into something more original and creative.

Now that the pizza is done, we only have to make the final Filbert, since all his embroideries are also done. We'll show you the clothes before posting him completed :)

Hola chicos! Sentimos el retraso con los wips de este peluche. Como os comentamos en el post anterior, hemos estado algo ocupadas organizando envíos de preorders atrasados. Además, como noticia importante, nuestro compañero de piso se va. Asi que durante una o dos semanas vamos a estar algo ocupadas ayudandole con la mudanza y reorganizando un poco nuestro piso. Pero no os preocupéis, que seguiremos trabajando todo lo posible y trayendo post interesantes para vosotros <3Hoy toca enseñaros algo que nos ha parecido super divertido de hacer. Como os comentamos ,el cliente de Filberto nos pidió hacer una pizza de peperoni para el peluche. Quería que se sujetara con imanes, y pudiera posar los brazos hacia delante, como "entregando" la comida. Así que tocaba diseñar esa patrón para la ardillita.Iba a ser un peluche pequeño, así que no podíamos darle mucho detalle de bordado o color. Pero se nos ocurrió una idea que le daría mucho realismo, el detalle que lo haría más nuestro estilo. Le pusimos en la punta  el queso goteando, bien fundido. La verdad es que nos daba miedo que quedara feo, que se viera una mancha gorda de tela, pero no, fue una idea genial. Se ve ADORABLE. Ese añadido lo hace ver menos plano y simplón, más vivo y creativo.Ahora que tenemos la Pizza preparada, solo queda pasar a limpio a Filberto (pues el bordado de la cabeza ya está hecho). Os enseñaremos alguna fotito de la ropa antes de enseñarlo terminado :)
