ENGLISH/ESPAÑOL
Hello people! We have finally our internet back. We were about to go to a cafeteria or the library to post something, we don't like staying so long without posting anything hahaha. Now that our internet connection works properly, we'll try to post the applique tutorial and the beanie patterns as soon as possible :)
Well, today's the last post about Heracross' process. We wanted to post several pictures that we find interesting or funny.
Let's start with a picture of the arm, at the moment when we were sewing his claws. You can appreciate the plushie's real dimensions comparing his arm to mine. It was HUGE. Seeing it on the plush doesn't seem so big! It was amazing.
After that there's a picture of us working on the horn's structure and another one with the finished horn. If the arm was already huge, just look at the horn taking up the whole table. We were glad that the shape turned out so good, since we were afraid that it would look bad when scaling it up. But the foam and wire work was good :)
The 4th and 5th pictures were totally necessary. It will help you see how difficult it was to work on some parts of this project. When we sewed all the pieces together (like, the horn, arms and legs to the body, etc.) we saw that it was impossible to sew it with just four hands, it was too big, so even the two of us together couldn't hold it while sewing. So we asked our ex roomie for help, we put Heracross on two chairs and Cirs sew him, sitting on the floor, while we held it on the perfect angle for her to sew. IT was a show hahaha. Definetely one of our funniest memories as plushmakers.
And finally, on the last picture, you can see that Niebla, one of our pets, found Heracross really interesting and wanted to check it. We don't usually let our pets get near or touch our plushies, but this moment was really cute.
And this would be all! We hope you've enjoyed the process of our Heracross plush. We hote that we can work a big project like this one soon.
----ESPAÑOL----
Hola chicos!
