Working on the Beanie patterns - Jackalope desing idea (Patreon)

Well, we weren't going to post any WIP pictures of this, but we thought it was necessary seing how cute it's turning out.As we said, we're working on the next patterns we'll share with you. The idea was to put a base beanie body with some extra characters. They were going to be Kero, Spinel and probably our mascot Slunny.We were testing some changes on the patterns when Cris started drawing a face on the prototype. And we ended up creating the last design you'll have avaliable; an adorable jackalope.

We're sorry that the pics are so improvised. The first ones are a bit better but the general light is horrible, but we really needed to show it before finishing. You don't know how proud we are of having created something this cute, and most important, original. This design is totally ours, and we love that because we'd like to make more original plushies like this one in the future.

At first it wasn't going to have anything on the neck, but we couldn't help trying some faux fur on it to see how it looked. We still have to decide if we'll put the fur on the neck or not. How do you like it better? 

It's just a prototype, we still have to design the embroidery, the antlers and get a bigger pompom for the tail, but we're already in love with it, and we hope that you are too.

Bueno, pues no pensábamos enseñaros fotos de este proceso, pero lo hemos visto necesario al ver lo adorable que había quedado.Como os comentamos, estamos trabajando en los próximos patrones disponibles para vosotros. La idea era poneros la base de un peluche beanie junto a un par de diseños extras. Iban a ser Kero, Spinel y seguramente Slunny, nuestra mascota. Pues estábamos mejorando un poco el patrón base para vosotros cuando Cris empezó a garabatear una cara en el prototipo del nuevo patrón. Y sin darnos cuenta, acabamos creando el último diseño extra que tendréis disponible; un adorable lebrílope.Sentimos que las fotos sean un poco improvisadas (las primeras son un poco mejor, pero en general la luz esta mal), pero es que necesitábamos enseñároslo antes de terminar. No sabéis lo orgullosas que estamos de haber creado algo tan adorable y, lo que más nos gusta, original. Es un diseño totalmente nuestro, y esto nos encanta, porque nos gustaría en un futuro dedicarnos a hacer peluches originales así.Al principio iba a ser con el cuello desnudo, pero no pudimos evitar probarle ese retal de faux fur para ver cómo le quedaba. Tenemos que decidir si lo haremos con o sin pelo. ¿A vosotros cuál os gusta más?Es solo el prototipo, hay que diseñar el bordado, los cuernos y conseguir una cola mas grande. Pero aun así, estamos enamoradas. Y esperamos que vosotros también.
