Sherb Animal crossing WIP 6: Small setback (nothing bad, don't worry!) (Patreon)

Hello everybunny!
We have some updates about Sherb. As you know, we had already finished Sherb's head. This week we've started working on his body and we're not too far from having the final patterns. But when making the body, we realised that the head we made is too big, and making a body proportional to it would result in a plush around 40cm tall (10cm taller). We didn't realise it until now because the first head test we made was the correct size, but by modifying the pattern over and over, it got bigger without us noticing it. The pattern changes we made every time were bigger than the usual changes we do to our patterns since it was a difficult shape to make and needed lots of them. Also, since the last Animal Crossing plushies we made had such big heads compared to their bodies, we didn't have in mind that Sherb was way more propotional.
So what we will do is scale the head down to make it fit in the 30cm size. Don't worry, it will be the same shapes, just smaller. We've done it many times, so we won't have a problem with that! We just need a couple more days to scan, digitize and scale the patterns, and make a couple tests to see if all the shapes and embroidery look good or if we have to change something to make it look as good as the bigger head. It's frustrating because it's going several steps back, but things like this can happen. Sherb's being a hard to bite bone, but we won't give up. Luckily one of the 3 persons that commissioned him said they will keep the 40cm one, so we won't have to throw away everything we made for that size.
We will do our best so he turns out amazing in both sizes. Once we have the scaled head and/or the body, we'll post some pics.

Hola chicos!
