Dom Animal Crossing WIP 5: Working on body and limbs tests (Patreon)

Happy weekend everybunny!Today it's time for another Dom WIP ^^ Since the face embroidery was already perfect, we've kept working on the body. This time we've focused on adding the arms and legs machine sewing them to the body. Like we have said before, when you add machine sewn pieces to a plush, the body shapes tend to change, widening or loosing some curves. That's why we almost always have to edit the pattern once the extra parts are added.

In the pics you can see the second body with limbs we've made. He's not a bowling pin anymore hahaha.There are still several parts we want to change; give him more neck, make the shoulders and torso thinner and make the legs closer to each other. But we can see he's going the right direction and we hope that said changes won't need more than a couple more tests! To help visualizing how the final plush will look, we drew the wool layers we will add to him. Ad with them he loos ADORABLE <3

But seeing the plush more complete and with the wool, we've realised the face needs to be longer because it doesn't stand out enough. But it's a small change that we will make once we start with the wool ^^

We will work on the new body and we'll soon be able to start with the wool layers! We're so hyped~

Feliz finde! Hoy toca nueva WIP de Fibrilio ^^ como ya teníamos el bordado de la cara perfecto en la prueba, seguimos trabajando en el cuerpo. En esta ocasión nos hemos centrado en añadirle brazos y piernas cosidos a máquina. Como os hemos contado otras veces, al añadir estas piezas a los peluches, las formas del cuerpo suelen cambiar, ensanchándose o perdiendo algunas curvas. Por ello habrá que editar siempre el patrón una vez tenga piezas añadidas.  

En las fotos podéis ver el segundo cuerpo que hemos hecho ya con todas las extremidades. Por fin ha dejado de ser una bola de bolos jajaja.  Aún tiene varios elementos que queremos cambiar; ponerle más cuello, adelgazar y mejorar la zona del pecho/hombro y juntar las piernas un poco. Pero podemos ver que va por muy buen camino y, haciendo los cambios, esperamos tener el cuerpo definitivo en un par de pruebas más!  Para ayudar a visualizar si el peluche va bien, hemos dibujado las capas de lana que añadiremos. Y con ellas ya se ve MONÍSIMO <3

Sí que es verdad que ahora con el cuerpo más completo y con la lana, hemos visto que habrá que alargar un poco la pieza de la cara porque está poco sobresalida. Pero es un cambio menor que haremos ya al pasarlo a limpio ^^   

Vamos a trabajar en el nuevo cuerpo y prontito podremos empezar con las capas de lana! Qué hype ~
