ENGLISH/ESPAÑOL

Hello everybunny~We're sorry for the lack of activity this week. Niebla, one of our rabbits, got really sick at the beginning of the week. We had to go to the emergency vet and he was hospitalized. We've had week full of trips to the vet and taking care of him. But he's now recovering at home so everything is good :)

Today we have more pics of how our cute Mini Marshal is going, and it's probably the last WIPs we show of him, because we only have to make the final plush now!

Once we had the head patterns, we made the tests for the fringe and ears. They weren't too difficult to make, since they're basically 2D pieces. Although we had to design the fringe embroidery from scratch because on the big one we hand sew the color changes.

With the head patterns and embroideries done, we started with the body. It's a very small body so it's difficult to get a good shape. They turned out either shapeless and small or too tall for an Animal Crossing squirrel. But finally, on the fifth body test, we got a body we loved~We'll show you pics with and without clothes so you can see it better. The clothes aren't the final pattern and that's why they don't fit the body perfectly, we made them for body 4 to see how it would look with them, and then we decided to make it shorter.

Finally, we worked on his signature fluffy tail. We didn't want to make a simple 2 piece flat tail. So we adapted the tail of our big Marshal, simplifying it a bit. After 3 tests, we got a very round tail with good proportions.

Altogether we REALLY like how the plush already looks like. We think we've made a good adaptation of our bigger version to a smaller and even more adorable one, without leaving details and shapes behind. Now we have to design the remaining embroideries and make the final one.And with luck, we'll be able to post the patterns on Patreon around the end of the month or veginning of July ^^
