ENGLISH/ESPAÑOL

Happy weekend everybunny :DWe know you're excited to receive the Marshal patterns. Don't worry, we're working on them and we only have to put photos on the sewing instructions. Since it's a pattern more complex than usual, their sewing instructions are longer so it's taking us more time. But they will be available this month as promised.

Taking a short break from those patterns, this week we've also worked on Dom. If you remember, we had made his base body. We modified that body's bust, legs and neck, just enough to make it look better. Once the body was ready, we finally started working on the wool. Even if it looks like a simple thing, it's not as easy as simply putting fabric layer over fabric layer. We have had to try different arch shapes so the layers are well distributed and make a bell effect. If you don't make it correctly, it will look plain and without shape >___<The pics with the paper wool are so funny hahaha

Once we had a shape we liked in paper, we tried it with fabric. The wool layers have quilt batting inside so they aren't just two fabrics sewn together, like we made with the mini Marshal ears. It gives them a bit of volume and they look much better.

We're showing you the first attempt at the sewn wool we've made. It's not the final one, of course! We want to make changes to the pattern to improve the arch shapes and make the layers more bell shaped. But we're showing it to you so you can see its evolution and changes once we've improved it :)Finally, we made a Tshirt pattern for the sheep villagers, to help us visualize the whole plush better.

And with all these elements, we can say that the plush is going in the right direction! It's starting to look like what we want, and we really like the shapes and layers it has, even if there's still a lot of work left ^^ Though right now it looks like a "Viva Piñata" character hahaha

Dom looks so great already!!💖😊Someone commissioned me a willow plush and the shape is indeed tricky, mostly the wool. I’ve made only a few test for now. I’ll continue to work on it next month. Hopefully mine will go as well as yours😅
