Squirrels for the next patterns chosen! (expansion packs) (Patreon)

Hello everybunny! 

After having let you vote for a month, we have the results for the poll where you chose the squirrel villagers you wanted in the expansion packs.The most voted were Poppy and Static, which didn't surprise us, since they're very popular in the fandom ^^ And close to them were Filbert and Sylvana, with some others very near to them, like Hazel. Remember that Sheldon was going to be for sure because he's a commission.

Now that they are chosen, we'll explain what we will do. We plan on making a first expansion pack that will include the extra patterns and embroidery files to make Sheldon, Static and Poppy. Once this first expansion pack is done, in the following months we will work on the second one, that will include Filbert and Sylvana. If we see that the first designs are taking too much time, we may move one of them to the second pack. On the other hand, if we find them quick enough to make, we may add another character to the second pack. We will decide that when working on them.

After these two expansion packs we won't make more squirrel patterns, at least for a while. We want to make other patterns like Lopmon and Terriermon, mini food, other villager species and ideas we haven't talked about yet.If by chance you like this expansion stuff a lot and several of you tell us that you'd like even more squirrel villagers, then we will think about making more in the future.

Remember that the expansion packs will use Marshal's patterns and sewing instructions as a base, but adding new embroidery files and patterns that are different from Marshal's, and showing any sewing or embroidery step we think is necessary.

Even if we have Marshal's patterns as a base, they're a lot of designs to work with, so we ask you to please be patient, since we don't want to leave commissions and other work at the side for this. We will update and post wips of everything :D

As a last thing to say, remember that except Sheldon, all the other squirrels we will make for the tutorial will be put on sale. So if you're interested on having a mini plush of Poppy, Static, Filbert or Sylvana, feel free to tell us and we can keep them apart for you!

Hola a todos!

Pues después de dejaros votar durante un mes, ya tenemos el resultado de cuales son vuestras ardillas favoritas que queréis encontrar pack de expansión de los próximos patrones.Los más votados fueron sin duda Protón y Encina, lo cual no nos ha sorprendido, pues son muy populares en el fandom ^^ Y los siguientes más votados han sido Filberto y Silvana, aunque algunos se han quedado cerca, como Anacarda. Recordad que Matracas lo haremos sí o sí porque es un encargo.Ahora que los tenemos elegidos, os explicamos cómo lo vamos a hacer. En un principio, haremos un primer pack de expansión que incluirá los diseños de Matracas, Protón y Encina. Una vez hecha esa expansión, haremos durante los siguientes meses un segundo pack que incluirá a Filberto y Silvana. Si por un lado viéramos que nos da mucho trabajo, quizás el tercer diseño lo dejamos para el segundo pack, pues no queremos saturarnos y asegurar que los peluches quedan bien. Si por otro lado, vemos que al tener los patrones, salen los peluches muy rápido, quizás añadimos a una tercera ardilla en el segundo pack. Lo decidiremos al ir trabajando en ellos.Después de estos dos pack de expansión no haremos de momento más ardillas. Queremos hacer otros patrones, como Lopmon y Terriermon, la mini comida, otras especies de vecinos y otras ideas que aún no os hemos comentado. Si por un casual os gusta mucho el tema de las expansiones y varios nos comentáis que queréis que hagamos más ardillas, nos lo plantearemos para futuros patrones.

Recordad que los packs de expansión utilizarán la base de el tutorial de Munchi, pero añadiendo los nuevos archivos de bordado, los patrones que cambien respecto a Munchi y enseñando algún paso de costura o bordado que veamos necesario.Aunque tengamos el patrón de Munchi como base, son muchos diseños en los que trabajar, así que os pedimos paciencia, pues no queremos dejar los encargos y otros trabajos a un lado por ello. Os iremos informando y enseñando wips :D

Por último, comentaros que exceptuando a Matracas, todas las demás ardillas que hagamos de prototipo para el tutorial estarán a la venta. Si os interesa tener un mini peluche de Encina, Protón, Filberto o Silvana, comentádnoslo sin problema y os lo podemos reservar!
