ENGLISH/ESPAÑOL

Hello everybunny! After a few days working hard, we can show you the first pair of SOTN plushies repaired and finished

Like we said in the previous post, almost all the plushies need some sort of reparation apart from making their hair. So we decided to pick a couple of "normal quality" ones (not perfect nor one that needed a lot of repairs) and try to finished them 100%. There are some before and after pics and all the photos of the progress we did.

In first place, we emptied the plushies and restuffed them. By redistributing the stuffing we made that them not look deformed anymore hahaha. After that, we sew some holes on the darts in Tama's face, caused by the high tension the seams had due to being overstuffed. Then we fixed the arms and legs positions so they had a more relaxed pose and looked better aesthetically.Next we fixed Tama's belt embroidery, which was unsewn, and we also reaped the back belt buckle, which shouldn't be there and ALL the Tama dolls have...

Once both plushies were fixed, we worked on the hair, which even if it was similar to our prototypes, we had to redo because the plushies are bigger and have different head patterns. It was a bit difficult to get the hair pattenrs right, specially Koko's long hair, but at the end they turned out great. Though they have smaller foreheads than our plushies so the fringes don't look like we'd like them to.

Anyway, the truth is that once fixed and with their hair finished, they look pretty good. It takes a lot of work, and we really hope that we don't have to fix all the 120 ones this much. But the next plushies shouldn't take us this long, since we've practiced with these ones and we already have the hair patterns. At least we're releived knowing that backers will receive decent plushies.

----ESPAÑOL----

Hello everybunny!
