Happy weekend everybunny :)
Today we have some work updates and planes for the rest of the month, as well as a small surprise.
In first place, now that Dom is finished, we will be working on some repeated Animal Crossing plushies and Patreon rewards. We will also start working on the second batch of SOTN plushies. And in February we will start with the next plush in our commission list, which is a human character :D
Here are some photos of the last Marshal commissions (finally!). We also have to make a couple Sherbs and Doms. If everything goes well, next week we'll be able to show you more stuff >:D
On the other hand, we started working on Sasha's sewing instructions. We have to make one from scratch to take pictures of the step by step, but he should be finished by the end of the month/beginning of next one ^^
And finally, one of our New years resolutions, and since we're officially freelancers since a while ago, we have decided to reogranize and upgrade our workspace and tools. We have many things planned, but we have started with the most urgent ones. First, we bought new work chairs. Cris' chair is more robust and has a low back support because she's the one spending more hours sewing. They are super comfortable, it was about time we had some good quality professional chairs! We've also bought a new table for our embroidery machine. It still hasn't arrived so we will show you when it comes. Until now we had a simple, homemade table that, when the machine was working, vibrated a lot. Such amount of vibration wasn't good, and many times we found ourselves holding the table or putting something to support it to reduce the vibration. So yesterday we went to our local sewing machine store and we bought a table for industrial sewing machines. It has reinforced legs and everything!
We want to get more stuff, like shelves, storage furniture, wall panels... But we will be getting them little by little every month. It seems silly to get so excited and spend so much money in these things. But we know from our experience that if you take care of your work space and try to make it more organized and comfortable, you work MUCH better and it's easier to get focused. Even with just putting the protection cutting mats on the tables made us feel that this room is our work place.
As always, if we can improve our work space is thanks to your support, and we thank you from the bottom of our hearts. We like to invest your help in our work space so we can improve our plushies every day!
