ENGLISH/ESPAÑOL

Hello everybunny!  Like we told you, we are working on the last SOTN plush batch. We're currently hand sewing the hair pieces to the plushies and fixing the mass production mistakes.

One of the most common imperfections is loose thread at the end of embroideries. It's something that can happen to a machine made embrodiery, specially if it's made fast or without much care.We realised that anybody can have this problem at some point, either with a factory made plush or a handmade one that became loose over time. People usually just cut the thread but it will get loose again in the future.

So we will make a short tutorial of a quick and easy solution!

First, pierce a needle through the place the loose stitch should go.

Then, push the tip out of the plush, keeping the head of the needle out. We recommend that the distance between where the needle comes in and where it comes out is bigger than the length of the loose thread. If the thread is too long, you can sew a couple stitches with it, or cut it.

After that, thread the needle.

Finally, pull the needle completely out of the plush. Since the thread is very short, it woun't make it to the end and it will unthread inside of the plush. If the thread is too long and comes out of the plush, just cut it. Be careful not to cut the fabric.

This isn't the most resistant way to fix an embroidery, it's true. The best way would be opening the plush. But that's more complex. So we recommend doing this if possible. And if it happens again in the future, you just need to repeat the steps :D

We hope you found it useful!

----ESPAÑOL----

Hello everybunny!

This is actually extremely helpful! I never thought to look into how to properly fix these threads. Thank you for taking the time to explain it! 🥰
