ENGLISH/ESPAÑOL

Happy weekend everybunny~Today we'll show you how are the Elementallis plushies going!

If you remember, we already posted the embroidery for the nature element. Once the embroidery was done, we sew the back piece, and made some extra seams following the leaf nevres. With these seams, we wanted to give a bit of depth to the plush and curve it a bit. Finally, we added the stem to the back. We wanted to give more volume to the plush. We really like how it looks! Despite being a simple design, it looks interesting at the end.

Once the nature was done, we worked on the ice and electric elements, which were the most simples of the remaining ones.

Starting with the ice, we decided to make an embroidery with some appliques in the front, simulating light reflection. We didn't want another totally blue plush like water, so we decided to use some purple tones too. And since we didn't want it to be a flat 2D plush, we decided to make an experiment and pade a geometric shape in the back. We weren't sure if it would look good, but at the end we love all the shapes we created.Once the prototype was done, we made the final plush. At the end, we were surprised that this fusion of ideas turned out so good. It's one of the elementals with more character and details until now, without being too complex to sew!

Finally, we dtarted patterning the electric elemental. We wanted a more 3D plush for this one, since it was really simple otherwise. We used the same type of pattern used for pillows, with a stripe between the front and the back. We also played with the idea of the plush being wider on the top and thinner at the bottom. Even if it's so simple, we like the shape and curves of the prototype. We'll make one change, which is making the top part a bit thinner. But it's such a small change that we will make it with the embrodiery test.

What do you think of the plushies? Do you have a favorite so far?Once the electric is done, there will be only 2 more elements left to finish all the prototypes!

Ohhhh theyre so cute!! Such cute little guys!! The applique looks really good on the ice one!! Definitely more character than just a solid blue, good call with the purple i think too!

Can't wait to see the finished lightning bolt. Is this from a video game or something?
