ENGLISH/ESPAÑOL

Hello everybunny!

Today we have a plush we made recently as a Sherpa tier reward. As you know, if you're in that tier, you can request mini plushies from our list, or a custom one with a simple design. And one of our patrones asked us if we could make this character for their cosplay, and we thought it would be cool :)

The design is Dodoco, a Genshin Impact mascot. We don't know anything about this popular game, but as long as we have references, we can make it!It was actually a quick to make plush, so we don't have many WIPs to show. First, we decided what fabric we would use, because it has long fur, so we wanted to use something that wasn't minky. After discussing it with the customer, we decided for rabbit fur. If you remember, it's shorter and sorfter than faux fur. It was the first time we were using it and we were excited to try it out and see how it would look like.

Once we had the fabric, we started with the body base. It's not a complex shape, but since long fur makes the shapes look bigger, we needed a couple tests. When we had the body shape. we made the embroidery. The hoop looked so fluffy hahaha. We were afraid the fur would stick out or it wouldn't look defined, but it turned out perfect.

After that, we just sew it and we got an adorable ball. These fabrics make everything look adorable.

Then we sew the ears and the tail. With these pieces made, we focused on the tail gradient, which was a reddish brown. depending on the model or concept art, it weas more or less visible, but after discussing it with the customer, we decided to make the gradient subtle.

We made some tests with pastels, which is what we usually use for this kind of effects, and we were ready to make them on the final tail. In photos it's a bit more difficult to see, but in person it's really subtle and pretty ^^ We like it a lot.

And with all of the pieces made, we only had a detail left. In the keychain, the plush has a small clover. We just made an ITH embroidery.

It's not a plush that stands out too much, and we made it very fast, but we still paid attention to its details and the owner said they love it :D So we are happy with the result! We specially like how it looks when hanging from a purse. We took a few pictures like that hehe

Also, like most of the custom mini plushies, this design will now be available as a sherpa tier reward. So we can repeat it if you want!

----ESPAÑOL----

Hello everybunny!

This is so cute you should perhaps offer this as pattern in the future! Since it’s easy to do!
