ENGLISH/ESPAÑOL

Hello everybunny! Today we'll show you the last Bunpinyon WIP before showing them finished >w<

If you remember, in the previous post we finished Amanita's patterns except small details. So these days we've been working on Chanterelle's pieces. We started with the hat. We wanted it to look like a mix of a black chanterelle mushroom and a witch hat, a cute fusion. We sculpted the base, though this time it was only the cone, and we made it with newspaper and masking tape. We used the tape methot to get the stem's patterns.

Once done, the hat was divided in two parts. We made the brim unstuffed, with a wire inside the hem to make the waves. and the top of the hat is stuffed.

It was a complex shape, so we needed 3 tests to get the perfect patterns. But from the first one we already liked how it was looking, and we're so in love with the final test!! We didn't think it would surpass Amanita's hat ;_; it's super cute. The shape from the side and back is perfect, it literally looks like a witch bunny using a black chanterelle as a hat hahaha

With this part done, we moved to the collar. We used amanita's collar as a base, but adding extra part on the base, so we had room for the waves, which we did using the same technique as in the hat. It looks arodable ^^

Here are photos of how Chanterelle's prototype looks like. If you look closely, you'll see that we also made the tail, which we decided to make as a mix of a bunny tail and a mushroom's "roots". What do you think? Do you like how it looks?

Finally, the last thing we've been working on is trying to make the mini mushrooms on amanita's thighs. You can see they're tiny compared to the plush. In the original design they were even smaller, but they were impossible to sew. These ones are already hard even handsewing them!

We think they're the shape we wanted and are so cute given their small size. But we still can't decide if we like them on the plush or not. We will decide it once the final plushies are done and comparing both versions, since we still haven't tried Chanterelle's mushrooms. At the end they're just an extra detail added at the very end of the process ^^

Today we'll design the embroideries so we can finish our Bunpinyon!! We're so happy and excited

----ESPAÑOL----

Hello everybunny!

Estamos super contentas y emocionadas

I love the shape of this little one! The tail is really unique and adorable, and I think the tiny mushrooms make a nice touch! It's hard trying to pick a favorite between these two. ❤
