Angel OC WIP 5: Body tests (Patreon)

Hello everybunny! We hope that you all have a perfect New Year and that you reach your goals :DIn our side, we're writing a list of them that we hope we can accomplish, even if it's little by little >__<

Now that we have posted the bat, we're back to work on commissions. So today we have a new Angel WIP!If you remember, the head was pretty much done, so we've been working on the body pattern.

This body will be in a sitting pose and we wanted to make all the curves defined, wih the slim and stylized proportions of her dog breed.

The proportions of the first test were wrong, the neck too big, small front legs and too much butt. But despite that, it was going in the right direction.We go now to the second test, where we shrinked the patterns, fixed the previous errors and we gave it a more upright and pretty pose, just like the customer wanted. We were surprised that it turned out so good with these changes! She looks so pretty and stylized, which is what we were looking for. And most important, her owner loved the pose and proportions.

Anyway, we still want to make the pattern slightly bigger (we shrinked it too much) and change the back curve a bit. But those are small changes, so we will make them directly on the final body ^^So with the body base done, it was time to draw the details; color blocking, freckles, markings... Some will be embroidered and others will be applique.

It's been fun to design this body. It has a lot of details that will look so good.

Hello everybunny!Esperamos que todos tengáis un perfecto año nuevo y que cumpláis vuestros nuevos objetivos :DPor nuestra parte, estamos haciendo una pequeña lista de ellos y esperamos poderlos cumplir, aunque sea poco a poco >__<  

Ahora que ya subimos el murciélago, hemos vuelto a trabajar en los encargos. Así que hoy os traemos nuevo WIP de Angel!Si os acordáis, teníamos la cabeza ya bastante avanzada, así que hemos estado trabajando en el patrón del cuerpo.

Este cuerpo iba a estar sentado y queríamos remarcar mucho sus curvas y proporción alargada y estilizada característico de esta raza de perro.

La primera prueba estaba muy desproporcionada, con el cuello grande, patas pequeñas y mucho culo y tronco. Pero aún así, iba en dirección a lo que buscábamos. Saltamos entonces a la segunda prueba, donde encogimos el patrón, corregimos estos errores y le pusimos una postura más erguida y bonita, como lo que buscaba nuestra clienta. Y nos sorprendió que saliera tan bien con estos cambios directos! Se ve súper bonita y estilizada, que es lo que buscábamos. Y lo más importante, a su dueña le encantó la pose y proporciones.

Aún así, queremos agrandar un poquito el patrón (lo encogimos demasiado) y cambiar un pelín la curva del cuerpo. Pero como son cambios super pequeños, los haremos ya pasando el cuerpo a limpio ^^  Así que hecha la base del cuerpo, solo quedaba hacer el diseño de las marcas que tendrá; los cambios de colores, las pecas, los dibujos... Algunos serán con bordados y otro con apliques.

Ha sido muy divertido diseñar este cuerpo. Tiene un montón de dibujos que seguro quedan preciosos en limpio.
