ENGLISH/ESPAÑOL

Hello everybunny!Today we have the first Agumon WIPs, which will be the pattern reward you will get this month if you haven't requested any ^^

As we said, we are super excited to remake Agumon, since he was one of the first plush commissions we made. So, even if we always give our best, we're going an extra mile with this project to make it perfect. We want to exceed our skills and show how far we've come!

Like usual, we started with the head. Agumon's head is similar to other plushies we have made in the past, like Totodile. It has some details to keep in mind, like the eyebrows, the prominent jawline and his muzzle shape. Also, we wanted to make sure he looked square from the front.

We needed 2 pattern tests until we got a shape we liked. So we decided that the third test would already have the emnbroidery, as it helps visualize everything better and it also affects the shapes a bit. With this first test we realised that the muzzle was too straight on the side, and that the teeth weren't visible enough. In the second test we gave the teeth an outline to make them stand out mor, rounded the muzzle and also made the eyebrows bigger. But we didn't like that at all, since now it looked too much like a totodile. The muzzle was too round and the eyebrows raised too much on the back.

Then we made the third embroidery test, making the muzzle between the two previous ones, with the first eyebrows and some other small changes. And we finally got a shape we love! Agumon's most distinctive and important details were in the plush. We're very proud of the result. In fact, when we watch it from the front, it reminds us of the 3D models from the latest games, which we love!

Maybe the first tests already looked good, but again, our personal goal is to make the most perfect Agumon we can. It's a challenge.

What do you think? Do you like how it's turning out?

With the head done, we can start working on the body!

----ESPAÑOL----

Hello everybunny!

I love how this is turning out, you can really see how the shape comes together. The outlines on the teeth really make it!

So cool I will soon be able to sew my own Agumon! I have 2 Agumon plushies I bought in very early 2000s, it will be really interesting to see what Agumon made with your pattern looks like next to the official plushies :D
