Hey all,

I'm happy to be sharing the first issue of TMBS Quick Thoughts, it's a Patron's only feature that gives you some of my thoughts on issues I'm thinking about that we didn't get to address on the show. Looking forward to hearing your thoughts!

This is really good but I think you guys need a proofreader. At least based on the copy I got in my email. (Several things, but the second paragraph just ends mid thought is an easy thing to point out.) I do professional writing, research and editing and I have had it happen one too many times that a basic error slips thru unnoticed. It's because you need a party that wasn't involved in the writing.. For whatever reason, that seems to happen to everybody. What I'm trying to say is if you need someone that can proofread quickly and for free, I'd be more than happy to do it. I'm a professional and I promise it would be quality work. If not, no problem. The doc you sent is brilliant regardless. Keep up the awesome work!

Michael, you're hitting the right points for sure. First and foremost the democratic candidates need to answer all questions, or critiques direct at them. We can no longer tolerate the non answers perfected by the establishment, coupled with the fake backlash invented to move the focus. We have real problems and these candidates need to dig deep and have the courage to say what they stand for. The protectors of the establishment make the mistake of attacking their critics and then the opportunity to get the real answer is lost. This was hillary's biggest problem. It wasn't the email, it was the mistrust that came along with the emails. Voters felt she was not addressing questions of war, Wall Street, policing, etc. We all understand candidates are not perfect. Mistakes can be forgiven as long we their response addresses the underlying problem. Any whitewashing is not acceptable.

Heather, This is producer David I take full ownership over the typos. When I was transferring into the newsletter format I likely missed a few corrections we had worked on prior. I was on the road and wasn't on my my own rig. Thank you for spotting though and we may take you up on the offer in the future!

There's a nerd contingent here that reflexively edits every piece of text they read. If the error doesn't get caught in the first edit, we'll be here to provide quick corrections. I can only imagine how busy you must be, with all your projects going on simultaneously, so you get some slack for errors. But they will not stay up for long, given your audience.
