Hey everyone, i'm still at work here in Chicago! Hope everyone is well. Really excited about the illicit history segment on the Russian Revolution that Bhaskar and I did that will be released on Sunday. Check out some articles I've been reading today

Thanks for the reads. I was very surprised to find out that St. Vincent's had closed. They were really a great hospital and I spent a lot of time there so I know. I tried to figure out if they ever reopened but I don't think so. I guess they owed a lot of money or something. They should have just erased the debt. It's weird that a corporation can get a bail out but not a hospital. I never watched Moore's Sicko so I'm picking that up from the library probably tomorrow. Also, the colonialism article was very, very good! I had no idea that George Orwell was stationed in Burma. So I'm gonna pick up that book of essays Shooting the Elephant as well. And his real name wasn't even George Orwell! It was Eric Arthur Blair. Crazy. Chicago sounds like fun, say hi to the Gallaghers for me.
