Wait, what ? Are you trying to imply the corporate democratic party has a different incentive and structure than the corporate republican party ?? That's just plain misleading right there. The highest bidder decides via consultation with its PR consultants is far more accurate. Please don't BS people into thinking we can vote our way out of this plutocracy.

but what you’re doing by making Douglas Lain a rep for Marxian theory is not cool. There’re literally thousands of people who can explain Marxian thought better than a sci-fi writer who plainly doesn’t speak German, who plainly hasn’t read the best English language commentators on Marx and his most significant followers, and who quite obviously cannot quote a single passage from a work written by Marx or Engels. I don’t want to diss DL—he’s a better writer than me, probably. But geez, he’s nowhere near someone who can teach Marx to your (awesome) audience. Just intended as constructive criticism. Again, love to you, DL, and all the crew.
