I feel for Ann from Australia. When a country cracks down on guns greed and gerrymandering it lifts the spirits of the whole nation, and the gun lobbyists retreat to their bunkers and locked down weaponry to lick their intellectual wounds, and frankly that is their natural place, that's really where they want to be --- in a Freudian sense --- in the minority and oppressed so they can act out in make-believe their anarcho-capitalist revenge fantasies. Apart from the usual white collar corruption, the Aussies have a passably ok justice system, by no means perfect, but just good enough that there really is no logical need for anyone to own a gun. Recreational users don't seem to realize their gun fetish is only enhanced when it is highly regulated and generally socially frowned upon.
