AMLO should probably talk to Varoufakis, immediately! When the currency gets devalued and there is capitalist-driven politically motivated capital flight, there are ways to keep the domestic economy afloat, because it is not a real crisis in productivity. For example, using systems of payment like tax credits and a parallel currency, which Varoufakis had ready to go in Greece in case of the ECB shutting down the Greece banks and ATM's. As long as AMLO has some way of paying Mexican workers, their productive capacity need not be diminished, and although their import capacity might decline, they can probably survive with help from democracies in Europe if the USA refuses to help. So furgodssake someone put these two in contact! DiEM25 /ProgressiveInternational should be fully supporting their Mexican comrades. When the crises is just money supply, then it is not a crisis, things can be done to keep Mexico going despite capital pig sabotage. Capital cannot do without Mexican labour, that's the bottom line. If you realise that, and realize money is only what people agree it is, then there are solutions to a fiscal crisis. This is so incredibly urgent. If AMLO figures out a solution without hurting the Mexican workers, then it will be a blueprint for other countries suffering under colonial neoliberalism, it will give others a guiding path towards progressive socialism. There are alternatives to YouTube and Facebook that are not susceptible to de-platforming. All that's needed is a network effect to build up. So encourage people to get off Facebook and Twitter: Dtube <a href="https://d.tube/" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">https://d.tube/</a> Mastadon <a href="https://joinmastodon.org/" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">https://joinmastodon.org/</a> Diaspora <a href="https://diasporafoundation.org/" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">https://diasporafoundation.org/</a> for example. The free libre open source community has the software. It's building a network that's the hard part. #DeleteFacebook The other great thing about these social media distributed platforms based on free libre software is that anyone can clone them and run them free of ads.
