Awesome episode. I first found y'all from Bill Fletcher tweeting an interview he had with you several months ago. Totally agree, his gift is not just incredibly deep knowledge, but the ability to communicate ideas accessibly, without losing precision and nuance. You'd mentioned maybe bringing Jane McAlevey on in a previous episode, and I highly recommend her as well. Gifted communicator who is excellent at helping folks think about organizing, the labor movement and how power operates concretely.

Outstanding one brother. As a longtime student of Bill Fletcher’s work, I think you two have a particular magic together that is special. On Friday I was having dinner with some of my mentors who are movement Elders, and old friends of his. They were asking about podcasts, I recommended yours, they looked it up and when they saw Bill’s name it was an instant validator for them, and are now listeners (their current collaboration with him is www.OrganizingUpgrade.com, you should def check it out). So glad his presence on your podcast seems to be pulling in an audience from that early ‘70s milieu (and Joel!).
