Michael....was it hard to not bust out Nation of Islam Obama on M.R. Today?.....when Sam’s guest said “when Obama hired Hillary to Secretary of State, Obama screwed over all the people that had endorsed his foreign policy over Hillary’s” .....I heard you doing it in my head....damn right I screwed over those white devils, I wasn’t fooled for a second by their treachery

Matt... I typed Boris in the the YouTube search. Boris Epstein was not only missing from the top ten, but these came up: "Boris the Spider" (great Who song), "Boris Cooking", and "Boris the Teeth guy". I was gonna go troll Epstein, but it doesn't seem worth it. I gotta watch the Teeth guy. Gotta be way more interesting.

To underscore Brooksy's "f__king good point" about Yang's UBI lunacy... it's also a problem because a UBI dehumanizes people. If given a choice between doing paid voluntary work and getting hand-outs, most people would choose to do some socially meaningful work. A Job Guarantee scheme is thus far superior. The leftist way would allow people to CHOOSE what work they want to do, and get equipped and paid for it. The UBI hysteria comes from people with near zero imagination who think AI robots will soon be doing all the work. That's bulls___t. It's based on the idea that all work fit for the unemployed is menial labour. It neglects a vast and almost unlimited space of art, sports, entertainment, and playful hacking and people helping people. I say, bring on the AI bots, let them clean up waste and build green housing etc. If the AI can design it, all the better, let them. It'll free up people to be more philosophical, mindful and playful. We should get payed for philosophy and acts of mindfulness and playfulness -- it's all beneficial, reduces stress, and improves health, which is all worth a basic income.

What no one says up front is the stock market is a negative sum game unless you invest long term. You should not be looking to make money trading stocks, it's basically the moral equivalent of gambling, for every transaction one person wins, one loses, and there is a fee, so overall it's negative. The "house" (stock exchange which takes the fee) is the only winner. Trading is a winning game for insiders, who are basically cheating, in some sense. I you have money to invest, invest in a good business for the long term. A former trader exposed some of the fraud, Brad Katsuyama, see the book Michael Lewis’ "Flash Boys: A Wall Street Revolt".
