Thank you Jamal! You spoke something I’ve been thinking for years about UBI! Nobody ever talks about potential negative psychological impacts of UBI. If people lose their sense of purpose, an exponential amount of potential would be lost in my opinion. Free money sounds great but if people feel like they have no purpose it would be horrible in my opinion

Michael, can you make a brief stop at the IBEW Local 233 in Helena Montana on your way to LA to do the live show. Let’s build a Montana coalition and kill stereotypes. People here voted for trump because they would never vote for a democrat. I’m doing my best to help people understand what is actually going on and it’s easy to discredit the bullshit on Fox News. People like David Pakman and Kyle k. are on the right side but they attack gun owners as backwoods incestual idiots. Pakman calls us 2nd amendment fetishists. A lot of people that would be on our side tune out at that point. Ok let’s take the legal guns away but then what? We have more guns than people in this country so I honestly am not convinced that taking “assault rifles” from law abiding gun owners in Montana will stop a single mass shooting. Shootings are a horrible horrific grotesque symptom of what’s going on in our country. The right acts like white terrorists don’t exist. We need to fix inequality, invest in people and help the poor so that going to crime makes them less money than going a legal route. I am with you on every policy and all that is left. I also own three semi automatic rifles capable of holding twenty rounds or more. I have high capacity handguns too. A lot of people would right me off instantly because of this and put me in the dumb redneck category that I don’t belong to. There are thousands of people like me in Montana. We’re more concerned with rich assholes moving to Montana to take advantage of our low taxes than getting rid of our guns. It’s really fun to go to the range and shoot guns all day. I’m sorry but it is. So unfortunately a lot of people like me that would be great allies get turned away when someone calls us a gun fetishisist. Like we jerk off looking at guns and ammo or something. Fuck the NRA too by the way. I personally know people that only voted for trump because Hillary put them into a box they don’t belong in, simply because they own guns that she wanted to ban. We don’t have mass shootings here and I think it’s beca of responsible gun ownership. I was taught gun safety at a very young age and I knew not to play with guns. I guess my point is that one thing that could help Montana vote blue next time is to not stereotype all gun owners in Montana as moron Hicks the way a lot of leftists do. There’s nothing wrong with owning guns and being responsible with them.
