Venezuelans need to start understanding economic warfare. They are shooting themselves in the head by spending their currency in Bitcoin and Ethyrium. They need pure fiat money sovereignty, stop pegging their currency to the US dollar, then they can exploit the insights of MMT to rebuild their nation's economy. To stop capital flight they need to put some oligarchs and corrupt government officials who are selling bolivares in Florida in jail. If I was a Maduro adviser I'd hire Michael Hudson and Jan Kregel to come and help on the currency side. For the criminal justice side I have no idea, that's a tough nut to crack. Pink Tide solidarity needs to be restored somehow.

Corbyn (and by consequent Brooksy) is so perfect on Brexit. The truth is, neither "leave" nor "remain" are not as bad as people think. My sister in law will lose her research job at Uni Edinburgh, because of a collapse in EU funding. But the UK owns It's own currency, both before Brexit and after. So it can always fund research, it can just issue the money, using the power of the governmetn deficit. If Corbyn understood MMT he'd know this would not be inflationary and is not a true "debt". So Brexit, under a wise leadership, need not be a disaster. Money sovereignty is incredibly powerful and can get a country through a mistake like Brexit. The amazing thing is that the UK was the only country to keep their money sovereignty, so being in the EU was almost uniquely good for the UK (and also Germany for other reasons, because they exploit their trade surplus, so do not suffer from loss of money sovereignty).
