I had a thought about Biden being against legal weed. His endorsement of legalization would be an implicit acknowledgment of the terror he imposed on so many people arrested for weed because of his inquisition against Reagan from the right on the drug war.

Good Burgis debunk from the social justice perspective, as usual. But note Wapo and NYT editorial boards are off in lala land on government financing. The Fed gov does not need to ever save for anything, they get the sole monopoly power to issue money. So "affordability" can only truly be about allowing for inflation. But free college tuition for all is hardly inflationary, since it typically boosts human productivity and creative potential, it is not the classic inflation causing wasteful spending. So the government can always afford to pay for universal free public education, purely from issuing public money, no tax required, no means testing required.
