Daniel Bessner (@dbessner) joins us once again to discuss three distinct outcomes to the Bernie Sanders candidacy for president. What happens if Trump wins re-election? How apocalyptic could we rationally feel? What if a status-quo democrat wins and goes on to suck? The need to be a serious political force bent on gaining power. And what happens if Bernie wins?

The current state of the power of the elitist classes will try to turn us against ourselves because they understand that a united working class can and will overcome their financial domination of our elected assemblies if motivated under a single cause From what I have seen personally, Trump supporters will support any agenda that improves their economic situation which was the primary reason for their support of Trump in the first place believing he would actually help them. These people will be critical allies to have so let’s make sure we don’t forget about them and make sure they understand that these policies Sanders fight for will help them. If we want long-term success we’re gonna need everybody on the same page.

If we don't there is the obvious possibility that someone like Tucker Carlson will, which even he recognizes. It would be a helluva lot better if we get there first.

Great show. I’m more for Sanders out of desperation than utopian visions. He’s the last best hope for planet Earth.

I dig coked up Bessner.

One thing I’ve been wondering about is the prospect of a capital strike/capital flight...and how Bernie—and we—might break that...I’d def be interested in hearing Bessner’s thoughts on that...

Pascal's wager ... @6:05. But it's not the same, since with Pascal's wager you are betting on something perfectly good being true against It's absence. Betting on Global warming happening is dopey. You instead bet that we can stop it. People placing bets for a winner tend to work harder to ensure their horse wins.
