Hey everyone. Obviously, we are all looking toward Iowa today, and what it's results mean for the state of the race going forward. But no reason to stop reading, learning, and growing. I've been revisiting the work of Ralph Miliband one of the great theorists of the state and of electoral strategies to building socialism. The piece I selected works through the difference between 'reformism' and 'revolutionary reforms.' It brings out some interesting strategies that we on the left will need to grapple with in the coming years.

Do you guys have a P.O. Box? Wanted to send a book about the political struggles from my neck of the woods. Let me know. Cheers.

Hey David! Loved your gem segment on capital flight, as it’s something a right wing friend of mine brings up in debates to argue for why we can’t raise taxes on the wealthy. Do you have any books or other sources that focus on capital flight — It’s history, how to legislate against it and a realistic take on what the wealthy might actually do if taxes are raised? Thanks to you and everyone who put on these shows. Learn something new each week!

Awesome! I’m going to give it a read and check out Blakely’s work. I appreciate the suggestions and quick reply!
