i agree that the focus should be on organizing but the dnc has been explicitly stating they don’t need the left so there’s no point voting for biden.

Sorry, I can't agree that Sanders presented such an opportunity for the left. IMHO, he never had a snowball's chance in hell of taking the nomination, no matter how many delegates or votes he had. The dems are just not that party, they haven't been in decades. And worst of all he went instantly into sheepdog mode for the party after he went down...which is what he always said he would do. I get how you think voting 3rd party is marginalizing, but...we will never get anywhere without building our own institutions, that's all there is to it, and you have to start somewhere...

Especially if Biden gets in, now is our time. I can only imagine incrementalism, and people will be angry, and looking for an alternative. 2022 midterms should be a first goal. Start running some races for state and Congressional seats, then field a full slate, including President for 2024.
