A rare thing for the theory reading group, but all of this week's pieces are contemporary. The moment is certainly pressing. The first piece by Robert Brenner is a must-read, it outlines in clear terms the massive open-air plundering that has been going on largely unwitnessed. It is one of the clearest examples of the stratified world we live in. 

Matt Taibbi's piece on the best-selling "White Fragility" is important. As we maintain this radical moment it is critical that we not allow it to fall back into old & ineffective habits & philosophies. 

Similarly Cedric Johnson warns of the ongoing 'backwashing' which is meant to obscure those who benefit the most hyper-exploitation.
