What We Are Reading (Patreon)

Hope ya'll are well. We are busy preparing tomorrow's show with Dustin Guastella (whose first appearance you can watch here) but I wanted to share a few interesting pieces with everyone. The first is a great history of democracy and socialism, it is crucial for us to be able to assert our history on this topic. The other two pieces are more theoretical, if you were wanting to learn more about the repressive and state apparatus (which I briefly mapped out in last week's commentary) I highly suggest reading through link to Althusser's work, if this is something people are interested in I can definitely make more suggestions going forward. Lastly, there is a great selection of Engels laying out his theory of history and communism.
