Emily was more cringey than usual. The hesitation and nervousness shone through but I was waiting for her to just say "fuck it" and jump in. Steal a kiss at least. I like how it all came together though. Chloe is gonna get beat now that Emily found out what she did to Steph. Mara should pay a visit.

I was trying to play it off as an incredulous sort of "I can't believe this is happening oh my god but maybe this is my chance???" but if it's coming off as cringe instead I'll definitely have to rework it. I definitely didn't want her to disregard the consequences and jump right in though, her trying that last time is where she got at least half of the weird baggage she has.

Really want to play up the sexual tension for these sections, but at the same time I also want to go into each of their mindsets and paint pretty colors. I'll be keeping a lot of those thoughts in mind whenever I have time to bring this out of first draft.

Likely going to try writing a fair amount of just that; I've been worried for instance that readers aren't following Emily giving Rebecca the slip to dart back into the room since I didn't address it from Emily POV. I mean, we know why she did it, but we don't see the process happen and actually play out. Although, tacking on too many more POVs to that section will also slow the pacing even further...

Just a quick suggestion. Where Brian says: "It’s crazy. I mean, I’m not saying I don’t believe you guys—it’s just, crazy now hearing that all this happened(...)" it's easy to interpret that as "(but) it's just crazy", depending on your reading of it, and I don't believe that was your intent. My quick suggestion would be to add something like "I mean, I'm not saying I don't believe you guys - I do - it's just crazy". Assuming, of course, that was what you intended Brian to be saying!

Ok, that came out more harsh than I meant I think. It wasnt unrealistic, it was just one of things where I kept thinking "go for it!" That is only because we know the characters. If she were to just jump in they would accept her. I understand her feeling the way she does and it is completely reasonable, just what I wish she'd do.

Oh no. We read because of the build up. I can't watch most porn because most of it is just naked people bumping ugliest senselessly for 20-30 minutes. A lot of erotica does a bit of the same, by just creating hot_curvy_latina_006.jpg instead of developing a character. A simple blowjob in the weirdest of snafus is more arousing than most sex scenes, because we care about the characters and any sexual act means something. By all means, do NOT rush.

I wouldn't say it's cringy but it's... weird. I get what you're going for. She's giggling, giddy and overwhelmed. It's just that "hehehehe" conveys it very awkwardly. It feels shoehorned in. It makes sense, and it's clear, but it isn't executed to your usual standards.

I'm still waiting for Good Girl Rebecca to insist that she and Chloe look for the convention lanyard (because Con Badges are a royal pain in the ASS to get replaced, even if you do get the super deluxe package), and rooting through the bushes outside of Brian's room is how Rebecca gets snared by the charm. Mostly because I think it's too soon for Brian too lose it.

I'd have to second that hope that Rebecca will touch the charm and badge accidentally. Otherwise she becomes the designated chaperone, and her stuck on the floor with Chloe actively puking hatred while the other four get up to all sorts of fun is just about the most awkward thing imaginable. The two minutes of that meeting stretched out over 10 hours.
